We are excited to share a recent case we had in Mossel Bay, where we implemented a custom Ti6Al4V glenoid baseplate for a compromised glenoid.
Utilizing the patient's CT data, we designed a 3D-printed implant with a central peg and trabecular mesh structure to support osseointegration. A hemispherical dome was placed onto this custom baseplate to create a reverse polarity shoulder implant solution. Surgical models and screw guides were provided to ensure that the desired alignment could be achieved accurately during the procedure.
