We're pleased to share our recent collaboration with Dr. M. Mehtar at Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital, where we implemented a custom Ti6Al4V cage for a distal metatarsal defect.
Utilizing the patient's CT data, we designed a 3D-printed implant with a trabecular mesh structure to support osseointegration. The cage, filled with bone graft material, was seamlessly implanted alongside a fixation plate.
This custom approach reflects our ongoing dedication to advancing healthcare in South Africa through innovative solutions. We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to improved patient outcomes, and we look forward to continuing our efforts in doing so.
